The Veritas Style Atomizer from Fastech
Reduced chamber, vertical coils, more than decent airflow, a good sized juice well and a sturdy build, all add up to the perfect atomizer for everyday dripping duties, with the added bonus that it doesn’t easily leak.
The exterior of this 22mm atty is all top cap, has a single air hole on the rear and the large veritas logo engraved deeply on the front, the nice curved moulding detail at the top, leads to a reduced plane with a hole for your drip tip in the middle.
Veritas Atomizer under the hood
It’s under the hood though where all the interesting stuff happens, the first thing you notice when you take off the top cap, is that from the build deck to practically the top of the air chamber is fully a third full of lovingly shaped steel, with a short positive post coming from the top through an insulator with two small nuts to trap your leads between.
The Veritas atomizer is designed to be used with vertical coils which should be placed in front of the air hole in the shaped metal and attached to the negative screws in the build deck.
I have been using mine daily for nearly two months now with no problems whatsoever, I’ve found that a 0.5ohm build when using it on a mech mod works really well. The flavour you get is excellent with the air flow adjusted down, open it right up however and the 3.5mm air hole allows for some impressive cloudage.
Though the finishing is not brilliant, nothing rattles, the o rings still work, the insulator hasn’t melted and the screws and nuts all tighten down nicely. The top cap has a good weight to it and the deck appears to have been milled from a solid chunk of steel.
This copy captures the essence of the ihybrid original and with it’s versatility and solid build, it is my most used atomizer.
